What clients look for on a salon or barbershop website

Most new clients find you on Instagram or Google Maps and then open your site to answer a few practical questions. If they can't find them, they book wherever they can.

  1. The full price list

Cuts, colour, balayage, fades, beard trims, with prices and how long each takes. "Price on consultation" for everything makes people nervous; a "from" price is enough.

  2. Who will do my hair?

Each stylist or barber with a photo, what they're best at and their level or price tier. Clients choose the person as much as the place.

  3. Can I book now?

A booking button at the top of every page, going to the booking app you already use, or a simple request form if you don't have one.

  4. Your work

Photos of real cuts and colour, ideally pulled from your Instagram. That's what sells a balayage, not a stock photo.

  5. Walk-ins, hours and parking

Barbershops especially: do you take walk-ins, when is it quiet, where do I park? Simple answers that bring people in.

  6. Policies, stated kindly

Deposits, cancellations, late arrivals, patch tests for colour. Clear policies, written warmly, mean fewer awkward conversations at the chair.

One price. Paid once.

One-time prices, laid out for a salon, barbershop or studio. No setup fees and no long contracts.

Good questions

Something else? Email umesh@orbik.ai and you'll hear back within a day.

We already use Square, Vagaro or Booksy. Does that work?

Yes. We link every booking button to the app you already use, so your calendar stays in one place.

We don't have a booking app. Can people still book?

Yes. On Business and Premium, clients send a booking request with the service, the stylist or barber and a preferred time, and you get it as a text or email.

Can you add our Instagram photos?

Yes. Send us the posts you like, or give us permission to use them, and we'll add them to the site.

How do we update prices or add a new stylist?

With the $49 a month care plan, text us the change and it's live, usually the same day.

We're a two-chair barbershop. Do we need 8 pages?

Probably not. Basic gives you 1 to 3 pages with your price list, hours, map and booking link, which is often all a small shop needs.

Who owns the site and the domain?

You do. The domain is in your name, and you get a full copy of the site if you ever leave.
