What diners look for on a restaurant website

Diners check your site for about thirty seconds, usually on a phone, often standing on the sidewalk. They want four answers, and they'll leave if a PDF has to download first.

  1. The menu, with prices

Written as real text, not a scanned PDF, so it loads instantly, reads well on a phone and shows up when people search for a dish. Dietary marks for vegetarian and gluten-free help too.

  2. Are you open right now?

Hours that are easy to read and correct, including holidays. Wrong hours online cost more goodwill than almost anything else.

  3. Can I book or order?

A table request, a link to the reservation service you use, or an order-ahead form for pickup. One clear button, at the top.

  4. Where are you, and can I park?

Address, a map, parking and transit tips. Tap the address and directions open.

  5. What's it like?

Photos of the room and the food, and a couple of lines about who cooks. It's what makes a first-timer choose you.

  6. Private events and catering

If you host parties or cater, a page with what you offer and a request form turns enquiries into bookings.

One price. Paid once.

One-time prices, laid out for a restaurant, café or food truck. No setup fees and no long contracts.

Good questions

Something else? Email umesh@orbik.ai and you'll hear back within a day.

Can you type up our menu from a photo or PDF?

Yes. Send whatever you have and we write it out as real text with prices, so it loads fast and Google can read it.

How do we change the menu or specials?

With the $49 a month care plan, text us the change and it's live, usually the same day.

Can customers order online?

On Business and Premium we can add order-ahead requests like the Mi Sol sample, or link to the ordering service you already use. Full online payment systems are quoted separately.

Can people book a table on the site?

Yes. Diners send a booking request that lands as a text or email, or we link to your reservation platform if you use one.

Will this replace our delivery app listings?

No, it sits alongside them. Your own site is where people check your menu, hours and story, and where you can point them to order directly.

Who owns the site and the domain?

You do. The domain is in your name, and you get a full copy of the site if you ever leave.
