Chiropractic on Central Ave
A small clinic in Northeast Minneapolis for back, neck and headache trouble. Your first visit is one unhurried hour, costs $95, and you leave with a written plan.
Where does it hurt?
Pick a spot on the spine and we’ll tell you which visit to book, what we’ll check and how long it takes. Not sure? Book a new patient visit; it covers everything.
What we see most
These are the everyday problems people bring to us. Each one starts with the same first visit, and if what we find needs a medical doctor, physical therapist or imaging instead, we say so and refer you.
- From lifting, shoveling, long drives or no clear reason. We check how your back and hips move, then use gentle adjustments, soft-tissue work and two or three exercises you can do at home.
- Often the desk, the phone or the pillow. We look at how far you can turn and tilt, check the nerves into your arms, and set up your workstation with you.
- Tension-type headaches that build from the base of the skull. A sudden, severe or unusual headache is for your doctor or the ER first, not for us.
- Buttock and leg pain from the low back or pelvis. We test strength, reflexes and sensation first; anything that needs a scan or a specialist gets referred.
- The tight, burning spot that comes with long days, carrying kids or new training. Mobility work, adjustments and a short daily routine.
- Bring a photo of where you work. We will change one or two things at your desk before we change anything else.
- For runners, hockey parents and Sunday league players. We look at how you move under load and keep you training where it is safe to.
- Gentle, side-lying techniques with a pregnancy pillow. Tell us your due date and your midwife or OB’s name when you book.
We don’t treat infections, fractures, cancer or anything chiropractic is not for, and we never promise a number of visits before we have examined you.

Questions people ask
Do I need a referral? No. Minnesota lets you see a chiropractor directly. If your insurance plan asks for one, we’ll tell you when we check your benefits.
Does an adjustment hurt? Most people feel pressure and sometimes hear a pop, which is gas in the joint, not bones moving. If you would rather avoid that, we use slower, quieter techniques instead.
How many visits will I need? We can’t know before the exam. After it, we tell you what we expect, write it down, and re-check at every visit whether it is working. If it isn’t, we change course or refer you.
Do you take insurance? We file claims for most major plans and check your benefits before your first visit. Without insurance you pay the prices on this page.
Will you take X-rays? Only when the exam says they are needed, for example after a fall or with certain warning signs. We refer you to an imaging center nearby.
What should I wear? Something you can bend and stretch in. There is no gown and you keep your clothes on.
Can I bring my teenager? Yes. Patients under 18 come with a parent or guardian, who stays in the room.
When should I see a doctor instead? After a hard fall or accident, with fever, unexplained weight loss, new numbness in the groin, or trouble controlling your bladder or bowels. Go to urgent care or call 911 first.
What if I need to cancel? Call or email at least 24 hours ahead and there is no charge. We keep a short waitlist, so someone else gets your time.
Call, write or send the form below. We reply the same working day.
