Prices, up front

What a visit costs without insurance. With a PPO plan, most cleanings and checkups cost you nothing.

New to Maple Street?

  • A full exam, cleaning and x-rays, then a plain talk about what we found and what, if anything, needs doing. No treatment on the day unless you want it.

  • Your insurance card, a photo ID and a list of any medicines. Fill in the forms online before you come and skip the clipboard.

  • In network with Delta Dental, Cigna, MetLife, Aetna and Guardian. We file the claim for you, and we will tell you what your plan covers before any treatment.

  • The Maple Plan covers two cleanings, exams and x-rays a year, plus 20% off fillings, crowns and whitening. Children are $19 a month. Cancel any time.

  • Bring them by their first birthday or first tooth. They sit on your lap, count teeth with us and go home with a new toothbrush.

  • Tell us when you book. We explain each step before we do it, stop when you raise a hand, and offer headphones, a weighted blanket or laughing gas.

  • For treatment over $500, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no interest. You get a written estimate before anything starts.

Free parking behind the building

Do you take my insurance?

Most likely. We are in network with Delta Dental, Cigna, MetLife, Aetna and Guardian, and we file claims for most other PPO plans as an out-of-network office. Call with your card and we will check in a few minutes.

I have a toothache. Can you see me today?

Usually, yes. We hold same-day slots every weekday and on Saturdays. Call before 11am for the best chance. The visit is $95 and we quote any treatment before we start.

When should my child first see a dentist?

By their first birthday, or when the first tooth comes in. Visits under age 3 are free, and we book brothers and sisters back to back so it is one trip for you.

I'm nervous. How do you handle that?

Slowly. You can come in first just to meet us. We tell you what each step will feel like, agree a stop signal, and offer laughing gas for $65 a visit.

Who will I see?

Dr. Nora Halvorsen or Dr. Sam Okafor for exams and treatment, and one of our three hygienists for cleanings. Most families see the same hygienist every time.

What if I need to cancel?

Call or text a day ahead and there is no charge. We send a reminder text two days before every visit.
