Good questions
Are you taking new patients?
Yes, dogs and cats of every age. Most new clients get a first visit within the week. Book here or call (802) 555-0148.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call (802) 555-0172 before you drive, so we're ready when you arrive. Bleeding, trouble breathing, a swollen belly, seizures or eating something toxic can't wait.
Do you see rabbits, birds or reptiles?
We treat dogs and cats only. We're happy to point you to an exotics vet nearby.
How do payment and pet insurance work?
You pay at the visit by card, cash or check. We fill in the claim form for any pet insurer, and surgery or dental bills can be split over three months.
Can I stay with my pet during the exam?
Yes, for exams and vaccines. For surgery and dental work we'll text you updates through the day.
What does a spay or neuter day look like?
Drop off between 7:30 and 8:30am with no breakfast. Cats go home the same afternoon; we call you when your pet is awake and again the next morning.
Do you do house calls?
For end-of-life care, yes, within about 20 miles. For everything else the exam room has the tools we need.
